Samsung Brings Coinbase Access to 75M Galaxy Users, Deepens Mainstream Crypto Reach

Published

Samsung links Coinbase to 75M Galaxy users—mobile crypto access goes mainstream as phones become on-ramps to invest in BTC, ETH & more.

Samsung is integrating Coinbase crypto services into its Wallet ecosystem, bringing seamless buy, deposit, and trading access to an estimated 75 million Galaxy device users. This move deepens the consumer funnel—turning smartphones into direct gateways for crypto engagement.

The integration allows Samsung users in the U.S. and Canada to fund Coinbase accounts via Samsung Pay, and it’s being rolled out gradually to select users before broader deployment. By combining Samsung’s hardware reach and Coinbase’s regulated infrastructure, the two are lowering barriers for everyday users to enter crypto.

For crypto investors, this could widen the adoption base faster than many realize. More Galaxy users getting native access to Coinbase can fuel on-ramps, increase demand for mainstream tokens like BTC, ETH, and stablecoins, and steadily break down “fiat to crypto” friction. Watch for volume bumps and adoption signals out of mobile cohorts next quarter.
