Ondo Finance to Bring Tokenized U.S. Stocks and ETFs to Solana

Ondo Finance plans to launch tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs on Solana, enabling 24/7 trading with near-instant settlement.
Ondo Finance has announced plans to offer tokenized U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds on Solana, with a targeted launch scheduled for early next year. The move represents a significant expansion of real-world asset tokenization and positions Solana as a settlement layer for traditional financial products.
The platform will enable round-the-clock trading of tokenized equities and ETFs with near-instant settlement, removing many of the time and access constraints that exist in legacy markets. Ondo already supports approximately $365 million in tokenized assets, providing a foundation for scaling into broader equity exposure.
By choosing Solana, Ondo is prioritizing speed, cost efficiency, and throughput, all of which are critical for high-frequency and high-volume financial activity. Tokenized equities on-chain allow for fractional ownership, programmable compliance, and integration with decentralized financial infrastructure, creating opportunities that traditional brokerage systems cannot easily replicate.
This initiative reflects a growing trend where capital markets functionality is being rebuilt on public blockchains rather than merely mirrored. Tokenization is increasingly viewed as an efficiency upgrade rather than a speculative experiment, especially among institutions seeking faster settlement and reduced counterparty risk.
While broader crypto markets remain volatile, Ondo’s expansion into tokenized equities highlights how infrastructure development continues regardless of short-term price action. The long-term trajectory of financial markets appears increasingly on-chain.
