Ondo Connects Tokenized Funds to DTCC’s Distribution Network

Ondo Connects Tokenized Funds to DTCC’s Distribution Network

Published

Ondo subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets has become the first tokenization platform to join DTCC’s Fund/SERV network, creating a standardized connection between tokenized funds and infrastructure processing over 85% of U.S. mutual fund activity.

Ondo Becomes DTCC’s First Tokenization Member

Ondo Finance has taken a significant step toward connecting tokenized investment products with the traditional U.S. fund industry.

On September 16, Ondo and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation announced that Oasis Pro Markets, Ondo’s regulated U.S. subsidiary, had joined DTCC’s Fund/SERV platform. Oasis Pro becomes the first tokenization platform to participate in the network.

Fund/SERV is an important part of the operational infrastructure behind the U.S. investment-fund market. According to DTCC, the platform supports more than 85% of U.S. mutual fund transaction activity by connecting fund companies with distributors, wealth platforms, and other service providers.

The development gives Oasis Pro Markets a standardized connection to that established ecosystem. It also creates a potential route for Ondo’s tokenized funds to reach traditional distributors without requiring a separate technical integration for every fund company or platform.

Why Fund/SERV Matters

Creating a tokenized fund is only one part of bringing real-world assets onchain. Those products also need distribution, transaction processing, recordkeeping, reconciliation, tax reporting, and connections to the institutions that already serve investors.

Without a shared network, a tokenization company may need to build and maintain separate integrations with individual fund companies, brokerages, wealth platforms, and service providers. That approach becomes increasingly difficult as the number of products and distribution partners grows.

Fund/SERV is designed to standardize that process. Through one connection, Oasis Pro Markets can interact with participating fund companies and distributors while supporting account-level data, transaction confirmations, reconciliation, fund distributions, tax reporting, and regulatory reporting.

This does not place every part of a tokenized fund on a blockchain. Instead, it connects Ondo’s digital-asset infrastructure to the established operational systems used throughout the traditional fund market. That interoperability may prove more important for adoption than launching another standalone tokenized product.

The Regulated Entity Behind the Connection

The Fund/SERV membership belongs specifically to Oasis Pro Markets, not to every company operating under the broader Ondo name. Oasis Pro Markets is an SEC-registered broker-dealer, a noticed Alternative Trading System, and a member of FINRA and SIPC.

That distinction is important because tokenized investment products can still fall under existing securities and financial-services rules. Connecting blockchain-based products to traditional distribution infrastructure does not eliminate the regulatory responsibilities attached to issuing, selling, servicing, or trading those products.

Registration also should not be confused with an endorsement. DTCC’s announcement explicitly notes that neither the SEC nor FINRA has approved or recommended an investment offered through Oasis Pro Markets. Tokenized securities continue to carry financial, technological, liquidity, and regulatory risks.

A Bridge Between Two Financial Systems

DTCC sits near the center of traditional financial-market infrastructure. Its subsidiaries processed securities transactions valued at $4.7 quadrillion during 2025, while its depository subsidiary provided custody and asset servicing for securities issues valued at $114 trillion across more than 150 countries and territories.

For Ondo, becoming the first tokenization platform inside Fund/SERV provides more than a branding milestone. It establishes an operational connection to infrastructure that traditional financial institutions already understand and use.

DTCC described interoperability between conventional market infrastructure and digital-asset systems as essential for achieving scale. Ondo Acting CEO and President Ian De Bode similarly said the standardized connection would allow Oasis Pro Markets to transact with fund companies, wealth platforms, and service providers without constructing separate integrations for each one.

The result is a bridge between tokenized products and the existing fund-distribution system, rather than an attempt to replace that system entirely.

What the Announcement Does Not Guarantee

The membership creates infrastructure for broader distribution, but it does not mean every institution connected to Fund/SERV has agreed to offer Ondo’s tokenized funds. Individual products, counterparties, and distributors may still face separate commercial, operational, compliance, and eligibility requirements.

It also does not confirm how quickly tokenized funds will reach mainstream investors. Actual adoption will depend on which products become available, which distributors choose to support them, investor demand, regulatory conditions, and whether the technology delivers meaningful advantages over existing fund structures.

Still, the connection addresses one of tokenization’s less visible but most important challenges: distribution through trusted financial infrastructure. The industry has spent years demonstrating that traditional assets can be represented onchain. Ondo’s entry into Fund/SERV moves the conversation toward how those products can operate within the systems already used by the broader investment market.
