Morgan Stanley to Add Crypto Trading to E*Trade in 2026 via ZeroHash Tie-Up

Published

Morgan Stanley will enable crypto trading on E*Trade in early 2026—Bitcoin, Ether & Solana access through traditional brokerage.

Morgan Stanley is preparing to bring cryptocurrency trading to its E*Trade platform in the first half of 2026, through a partnership with digital asset infrastructure provider ZeroHash. At launch, customers will have access to trading in Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana, giving retail users direct access to major crypto assets via a traditional brokerage interface.

This move marks another step toward mainstream adoption, as major financial institutions continue bridging legacy finance and digital asset markets. For existing clients, it could mean integration of crypto alongside stocks and ETFs, lowering the barrier between traditional and digital portfolios. As regulatory clarity improves, this foray could also intensify competition among brokerages and exchanges looking to win retail crypto flows.
