First U.S. Spot ETF for XRP Debuts with Canary Capital’s XRPC

U.S. spot ETF for XRP (ticker XRPC) goes live—first alt-coin fund after BTC & ETH, opening regulated access to XRP exposure.
Canary Capital has officially launched the first U.S. spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) tied to XRP, trading under the ticker XRPC, marking yet another milestone in crypto’s pathway into mainstream finance. This product adds to the growing list of crypto assets (following Bitcoin and Ethereum) that now offer regulated, brokerage-friendly exposure.
The ETF is structured under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and held its inaugural trades on November 13, 2025. It gives investors price exposure to XRP while relying on established custodians and regulatory frameworks—unlike direct crypto ownership. Early trading volumes were strong and beat many expectations, reflecting investor appetite for alt-coin access through regulated channels.
For crypto investors, XRPC’s rollout confirms alt-coins are becoming investable via traditional finance vehicles and not just via direct token purchase. While this doesn’t guarantee immediate price surges, it does open access, deepen liquidity, and signal broader institutional normalization of digital-asset portfolios.
