Corpay Integrates Stablecoin Wallets Through BVNK Partnership

Published

Corpay is bringing stablecoin wallets and 24/7 blockchain settlement rails to over 800,000 global business clients.

Another major traditional finance player is stepping directly into stablecoin infrastructure as S&P 500 payments giant Corpay announced a partnership with BVNK to bring stablecoin wallets and blockchain settlement capabilities to its global customer base. The move is one of the clearest signs yet that stablecoins are rapidly evolving from a crypto-native product into mainstream financial infrastructure for global business payments.

Under the integration, Corpay customers will be able to hold stablecoin balances directly alongside traditional fiat balances inside the company’s payment platform. Businesses will gain embedded wallets capable of sending, receiving, storing, and converting stablecoins without needing separate crypto-native infrastructure or third-party wallets. The partnership also gives Corpay access to 24/7 blockchain-based settlement rails that operate outside traditional banking hours.

The scale here is what makes the announcement important. Corpay processes roughly $12 billion in corporate payments and $26 billion in foreign exchange volume every month across more than 145 currencies for over 800,000 customers globally. Adding stablecoin functionality to a network of that size represents another major bridge between traditional finance and blockchain-based payment systems.

The company also plans to integrate stablecoin rails into its own treasury operations, which could reduce reliance on pre-funded accounts and improve liquidity management across international payment corridors. That matters because one of the biggest inefficiencies in cross-border finance today is the need to park capital across multiple banking jurisdictions simply to maintain settlement speed. Stablecoins potentially allow firms to move value globally in real time without that same friction.

BVNK has quietly become one of the larger enterprise-focused stablecoin infrastructure providers powering payment and treasury services behind the scenes for fintechs and global payment firms. Its infrastructure allows businesses to offer stablecoin products while handling compliance, onboarding, custody coordination, and fiat conversion in the background. The broader trend is increasingly clear: many traditional financial firms want exposure to stablecoin efficiency without directly becoming crypto companies themselves.

This announcement also continues a much larger macro theme developing across financial markets. Stablecoins are increasingly being viewed less as speculative crypto tools and more as next-generation payment rails for cross-border commerce, payroll, treasury management, and settlement infrastructure. Over the last year, major institutions including payment processors, banks, fintech firms, and asset managers have accelerated stablecoin integrations as global demand grows for faster and cheaper dollar movement.

For crypto markets, this is another example of adoption quietly moving up the financial stack. While retail headlines often focus on price action or meme coin speculation, institutional infrastructure continues expanding underneath the surface. Stablecoins are becoming one of the clearest real-world use cases for blockchain technology because they solve a practical problem: moving money globally with fewer intermediaries, lower costs, and near-instant settlement.
